The City of Commerce City collaborates with several organizations to offer a wide range of sports to youth in our community. Learn more about the following programs:
Adams City Wrestling Club
The ACWS provides opportunities for all youth ages 4-18 to develop their wrestling skills to the highest level possible. Practices are held Monday through Wednesday evenings and matches on weekends. Contact Juan Ortiz at (303) 525-0457 or email for more information.
Azteca Soccer Club (American Eagle)
This year-round program is for boys and girls ages 5-14. Teams practice twice a week at Dicks Sporting Goods Park and games/tournaments are held in surrounding communities on weekends. For more information email or call

Commerce City Youth Athletics
Local nonprofit organization augments city programs, providing sports experiences to all interested youth with low-cost registration fees for tackle football, basketball, baseball, girls' softball and cheerleading. More information is available by contacting the specific program:

Brighton Youth Baseball Association (BYBA)

Competitive Baseball (Ages 7-14)
Four different levels of competitive baseball: Major, AAA, AA, A. Games are played in Brighton, Commerce City, and the greater metro-Denver area.
BYBA offers tournament-only team options for the highest level of competitive play in the metro area.

Rocky Mountain ThunderHawks Football Association (Fall)
Youth in grades 1-8 can play youth competitive tackle football. All coaches are USA Football Heads Up Certified. Teams practice three times per week in the Commerce City area. Games are played throughout the greater Denver metro area. Conditioning and fundamental camps are provided throughout the summer for all youth; even those in other leagues.
