Cram the Police Cruiser 2017
Help Commerce City Spread the Love
Each February the Spread the Love campaign encourages the donation of peanut butter and jelly jars that are then distributed to local food banks.
According to Hunger Free Colorado, a resource connecting families and individuals to food and nutrition resources, nearly 1 in 6 Colorado households with children report an inability to afford adequate food. Each year there is a need for nonperishable food items at food banks following the holiday season when donations are at the lowest and in the highest demand.
Help us make a difference in Commerce City by donating jars of peanut butter and jelly at one of these public drop-off locations:
- Commerce City Recreation Center, 6060 E. Parkway Dr.
- Older/Adult Senior Center, 6060 E. Parkway Dr.
- Commerce City Civic Center, 7887 E. 60th Ave.
