EPIC - Youth and Teen program
EPIC program
EPIC is an umbrella program that offers free and low-cost activities for youth andEPIC logo teens, helping them to build positive relationships in the community and reducing or preventing involvement in crime, gangs and drugs.

Commerce City Parks and Recreation sponsors EPIC activities for youth ages 8-18. For more information on EPIC and its programs, contact Jenna Johnson at 303-289-3674. To register for boxing, geocaching and Police Camp, call 303-289-3789.

7-10 p.m.

Police Camp
(ages 11-15)
Join us on this 4-day, 3-night adventure: Kids participate in building searches, make crime scene castings, SWAT drills, hike and more. Visit us on Facebook for photos from last year's camp,

Bring your team and battle the cops in a Cops vs. Kids tournament. 3/16; Dodgeball at Recreation Center

Adams City Middle School afterschool program
(grades 6-8)
                 
Get involved in a Girls Group and other after-school programs. Transportation is provided to all after-school participants through the EPIC program. 2011-2012 school year
Teen Nights Around Town
(ages 11-17)
Join us in the park for a teen night out, featuring free food, games, activities and FUN! 6/20; Pioneer Park

Geocaching
(ages 11-17)
Get in on the newest activity craze: We'll use a GPS to hunt for caches in the area; when you find one, you take the treasure and replace it with one of your own. 4/14-5/5 (Saturdays) 
Boxing
(ages 11-17)
Thursdays, FREE for residents
Get a good workout and learn boxing skills. No experience necessary. All levels welcome.

Juvenile Assistance Grant Program (JAG)
The JAG program aims to prevent and reduce crime and delinquency using collaborative, evidence-based and promising practices. Program goals are to help improve outcomes and use resources efficiently to bridge gaps within the criminal and juvenile justice system.*
