Members
The Housing Authority Board is made up of:
- Five regular members (including one Council member)
- Three alternate members (including one Council member)
- Other members must be qualified to vote and either be a resident of Commerce City or conduct a substantial part of their business in the city
Regular members serve a five-year term and Council members serve a two-year term.
Current members are:
- Steve Douglas (Alternate), Councilmember, term expires at 2013 City Council organizational meeting
- Dolores Harr, Secretary, term expires February 28, 2013
- Lynette Malloy, Chairperson, term expires February 1, 2014
- Dominick Moreno, Councilmember, term expires at 2013 Council organizational meeting
- Bruce Thomas, Vice-Chairperson, term expires May 1, 2016
- Ann Brumfield, (Alternate), term expires May 1, 2015
- Vacant, (Alternate), term expires February 1, 2012
- Vacant, member, term expires May 1, 2015

The Commerce City Housing Authority recently adopted its first-ever strategic plan, establishing clear goals, objectives and action items to support the changing needs of the community.
Overview
The purpose of the Commerce City Housing Authority is to improve the quality and quantity of the available housing and to provide safe, quality and attainable housing for all Commerce City residents.
