Boards, Commissions and Committees
Boards and Commissions
In order to help our local government address true community needs, it is vital that citizens participate in our municipal boards and commissions. Each board and commission is entrusted with specific responsibilities as detailed in the
Commerce City Charter,
Commerce City Municipal Code and/or bylaws or rules of procedure.
The responsibilities, powers, terms of office, membership size, qualifications and meeting schedule vary for each board and commission. Vacancies are advertised in the local newspapers and on the city’s web site. Members are appointed by the
City Council.
