Our Human Resources Department provides comprehensive and centralized services for recruitment, employee relations, development of policies and procedures, employee benefits and compensation, organizational training, workplace safety and loss control risk management. The department also leads negotiations and oversee contracts with two unions that represent city employees: the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and the Fraternal Order of the Police (FOP).
