Advisory Committees
As part of implementing the city's Economic Development Strategic Plan, the Commerce City Economic Development Business Advisory Committee (ED-BAC) and Citizen Ambassador Program (CAP) were formed in July 2010. These committees are made up of a diverse group of volunteers representing businesses and residents, target industry representatives and business resource partners to:

  • Promote public involvement in economic development to further the economic success of Commerce City;
  • Provide independent business and citizen community input and feedback on Commerce City economic development issues and proposed policies; and
  • Act as community stewards to help educate other businesses and residents on Commerce City-specific economic development programs, issues and progress.
