The state’s largest Memorial Day parade with 100+ entries, Commerce City celebrates 52 years of honoring veterans on Monday, May 30, 2016. From military units and bands to floats, antique cars and horse entries, the 1.5 mile parade route kicks off at 10 a.m.

Event Details
The 52nd anniversary parade starts promptly at 10 a.m. along a 1.5 mile parade route that begins at 64th Avenue/Newport Street and ends at 6060 E. Parkway Drive. The parade lasts approximately two hours. In 2015, we had nearly 100 parade entries. Prior to the parade, the city will host a ceremony at Veteran’s Memorial Park at 9:30 a.m. to recognize this year’s grand marshals Raymond Brionez, a World War II veteran, Homero Lopez, a Vietnam Veteran, and Arthur Saiz, a veteran who served 36 years in the Army. The parade is held rain or shine; parade participation and admission is free.
