May 29, 2017 for the 53rd Annual Memorial Day Parade!
The state’s largest Memorial Day parade with 100+ entries, Commerce City celebrates 53 years of honoring veterans on Monday, May 29, 2017. From military units and bands to floats, antique cars and horse entries, the 1.5 mile parade route kicks off at 10 a.m.

Event Details
The 53rd anniversary parade starts promptly at 10 a.m. along a 1.5 mile parade route that begins at 64th Avenue/Newport Street and ends at 6060 E. Parkway Drive. The parade lasts approximately two hours. In 2016, we had nearly 100 parade entries. The parade is held rain or shine; parade participation and admission is free.

Before the parade, join us at 9:15 a.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park (6015 Forest Drive) for a ceremony honoring the men and women who have died while serving our country with honor and valor. Help us recognize the four local veterans who are this year’s grand marshals: Robert Benzel, Johnny Gallegos, Fernando Serna and Ernesto Vasquez.
