EPIC Youth & Teen Programs
EPIC logoOur EPIC youth and teen programs offer free and low-cost activities that help build positive relationships in the community as well as reduce or prevent involvement in crime, gangs, and drugs. 







EPIC Fun
Most EPIC activities are for youth ages 9-17 (see ages below) and most do not require advance registration - just drop in and join us.

Middle School Madness
(grades 6-8)
Saturdays
7-10 p.m.
$2 per person
Every second Saturday of the month we offer a new and exciting activity.

 Bike With Cops
Days and locations vary
(ages 9-17)
Spend the day on your bike. Participants receive safety information, learn how to maintain your bike, and rules/laws of the road and trails.

Meet in Alsup Elementary School parking lot.

(ages 9-17 and siblings)
           
 Learn laws and safety skills inside a "mini" city with traffic lights, signs, and other hazards. New dates coming Spring 2017
         
Police Camp
(ages 11-15)
Join us on this four-day, three-night adventure: Kids participate in building searches, make crime scene castings, SWAT drills, and hike. July 2017
 Mini Police Camp
(ages 9-12)
 A day camp version of Police Camp.  June 13-16, 2016
Cops vs. Kids
(ages 9-17)
           
Check in at 4 p.m.
Bring your team and battle the cops in a Cops vs. Kids tournament.

Get in on the newest activity craze: We'll use a GPS to hunt for caches in the area; when you find one, you take the treasure and replace it with one of your own.

Boxing
(ages 11-17)
Thursdays, free for residents

Pick-up at 4:30 p.m.
Get a good workout and learn boxing skills. No experience necessary. All levels welcome.

Pick-up and drop off is available at Commerce City Recreation Center and Reunion Recreation Center.

Drop-in/Game Room
(ages 11-17)

5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Hang out and have fun in the Game Room, featuring the Exergame, billiards, ping pong, xBox 1, xBox 360 with Kinect, Wii, Wii U, foosball, and crafts.

Zombie Survival 101 Can you survive? Learn basic wilderness skills with a zombie twist!

Ultimate Survival  Did you survive the zombies? Then you can test your skills learned in Zombie Survival 101 on this 4 day/3 night backpacking trip.
