Adopt-a-Street Program
Adopt a streetCommerce City’s Adopt-a-Street Program allows local families, businesses, and community groups to perform a valuable community service by adopting a section of Commerce City street to keep clear of litter and debris.

Any local group that demonstrates sufficient numbers and is willing to take on the responsibility of adopting a street for at least one year is eligible for the program. Groups who successfully participate have the opportunity to be recognized by city council and have an Adopt-a-Street sign identifying the group posted along the adopted roadway. After a successful one-year term, the group may be allowed to continue its adoption of the street on a year-by-year basis.

Staff from the Public Works Streets Division has developed a list of adoptable streets that meet safety and location criteria. Not all street segments within the city are available for adoption. See the program guide for a full list of street segments currently involved in the program.

How to participate:

Thank you to all the Adopt-a-Street volunteers who are doing their part to help keep Commerce City clean and beautiful!
