Railroad personnel advised police the tracks are severely damaged which will cause the roadway to be shut down for a minimum of 16 Hours before traffic can use the thoroughfare. The roadway is closed from Clermont Street on the east and Brighton Boulevard on the west. Signage is in place alerting travelers to find alternate ways to get to their destination.
Large trucks are asked to find alternative methods to gain access to businesses in the area as the ability to turn around on the roadway is hampered due to the narrow street and limited driveway access. There will be updates provided throughout the day.
