Household hazardous waste disposal event coming soon
If you have chemicals, automotive fluids, car tires or other hazardous items to discard, take advantage of this year’s second and final Household Chemical Roundup for Adams County residents on Saturday, September 16.
Hosted by the Tri-County Health Department, this event allows residents to dispose of hazardous waste that is not accepted in regular garbage and can cause health hazards and/or harm the environment when not disposed of properly.
Cost is $25 per vehicle to offset the high cost of hazardous waste disposal, and volunteers on hand will unload materials for you. Proof of residency is required.
