Students: Get your gears turning at the Skills for the Future Conference

Youth Conference 2018The Commerce City Youth Commission wants to help local middle and high school students prepare for the next steps in their lives and careers with the first “Skills for the Future Conference” October 24 at Bison Ridge Recreation Center. 

Local students are invited to attend three workshops during the day-long event:

  • Youth Voices – how to be engaged in the community and have your voice heard
  • Managing Money – tips on saving for college, budgeting and your credit score
  • Post-Secondary Education Success – learn more about your options after high school

Registration is FREE, and breakfast and lunch are both included. Space is limited, so register online at c3gov.com/Youth by October 19 to secure your spot. Free transportation is also available, with pickup and drop-off locations at Adams City High School, Prairie View High School and York International School.
