Local students can receive up to $4,000 in scholarship money
The Quality Community Foundation provides annual scholarship opportunities for Commerce City residents. Each recipient receives funding for post-secondary education up to $4,000 over a 4-year period. Last year, a total of $8,000 was awarded to two local students.
Scholarship eligibility requirements:
- Must be a resident of Commerce City
- Must currently be enrolled or have been accepted to attend a college, university or vocational school in Colorado
- Have achieved and will continue to maintain an acceptable grade point average of 2.0 (transcripts are required for each stage of scholarship program)
Applications are available online at c3gov.com/QCF, at the Commerce City Civic Center (7887 E. 60th Ave.), or through the counselor’s office of each Commerce City high school. Applications are due April 2.

Funding for this scholarship program is made possible through fundraising efforts of the Quality Community Foundation. The Quality Community Foundation was established in 2006 and its goal is to support and obtain funding for post-secondary education and youth recreational program scholarships to the residents of Commerce City. The Foundation also provides grants to fund various non-profit organizations which benefit Commerce City residents.
