Fairfax park is the second largest park in Commerce City. It is 23 acres in size. It is located off of 69th Avenue and Hwy 85. The park is open to the public at all times however, this park has a shelter area that can be rented out.

Come out and visit the NEW Fairfax Park. Fairfax Park had a facelift in 2013 and is now ready for park visitors. New shelters, basketball courts, and futsal courts. Baseball/softball field improvements and new walking trails.


Public Art coming to Fairfax Park - Spring 2014!
Utilizing standards identified in the City’s Public Art Master Plan, the public art selection committee unanimously chose “Determination” by Joshua Wiener to be installed in Fairfax Park.  This is a one-of-a-kind piece, created to align with the identified theme of “Active Play & Parks.”  The Master Plan was developed by the Commerce City Cultural Council and was adopted by City Council in April 2013.

Special Events Special event permits are required for park uses such as bands, a circus, car show etc.
Alcohol Permits Alcohol permits are required to consume 3.2% beer at all Commerce City parks. Glass containers are not allowed at any city park.
Reservations:
  • Shelters are limited to 75 people per shelter.
  • Operate as a first come first serve basis. 
  • Reservations are for the pavilion only.
  • Rentals are available March-October.
  • Applications accepted after March 1.
  • Reservations must be made at least two weeks prior to event.
  • Reservations form is required.
  • Deposit is due at time of reservation.
  • Payment of the full is due two weeks before the event.
