Registration for fall activities continues throughout closure, either: in person at the recreation center; by calling 303-289-3789 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays; or online 24/7 at www.c3gov.com/register.

Members can exercise free during closure at the Belle Creek Family Center or the Brighton Recreation Center with membership card from Commerce City.

The annual building closure allows the recreation center to get in shape, just in time for its 25th anniversary celebration Sept. 22, 2012. During the closure, wood floors will be stripped, all carpet will be replaced and routine maintenance will be performed on pool and steam room equipment. The senior center and teen area renovations are expected to be complete when the recreation center reopens Monday, Sept. 3, 2012.
