Metro North Chamber of Commerce 44th Annual Golf Tournament and 1st Annual Golf Ball Drop

The Metro North Chamber of Commerce presents the 1st Annual Great Golf Ball Drop as part of the 44th Annual Golf Tournament! If you have never been a part of a Golf Ball Drop, you need to make sure you don’t miss this! Purchase as many golf balls as you wish. Golf balls will be dropped out of a helicopter. The ball that lands the closest to the target will win a GUARANTEED PRIZE OF $1000!!! You do not have to be present to WIN. Foursomes for the annual golf tournament also still available.

Always a sell out ... the Metro North Chamber Annual Golf Tournament turns 44 this year. The tournament helps you connect, entertain colleagues and be a part of the Metro North region tradition. This tournament is a great way to support the Chamber while strengthening our Metro North region.

The revenue generated from the golf tournament allows the Chamber to have investment levels that are affordable to all sizes of businesses as we work to advance the business and economic interests of the Metro North community.

Derby Daze & Farmers Market – community event
Saturday, June 9, 2012 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at E 72nd Avenue and Magnolia
This annual event is held in June in Commerce City’s Derby area on Magnolia St. in between Highway 2 and 72nd Ave. The event is organized in partnership with Salud Family Health Centers and includes a "Health Street" offering an assortment of information, free and reduced-price vaccines, car-seat checks, and a variety of other services. Also included in the festival: information booths, live music and dancing catering to a variety of musical tastes, carnival rides and games and food booths. In the past, the event has featured a dunk tank with city officials and prominent figures from in and around the area (including the mayor), a car smash, fencing and karate demonstrations, and a small car/motorcycle show.
