Nov. 1 - 2011 municipal election results available online

COMMERCE CITY, COLO. – The Adams County Clerk & Recorder’s office is the place to be tonight to learn the results of the 2011 Commerce City election. All ballots must be hand-delivered by 7 p.m. to either the Commerce City Civic Center, 7887 E. 60th Avenue, or the Adams County administration building, 4430 S. Adams County Parkway, Brighton.

City voters will elect a mayor, two at-large council members and representatives from Ward II and Ward IV on Nov. 1 as well as decide four ballot questions.

Initial unofficial results will be posted on www.adamscountyelections.org at approximately 7:30 p.m. and updated about each hour thereafter as long as ballots are being counted. Results also will be posted at the Adams County Elections office at the first floor of the administration building.

The final city council meeting for current elected officials will be Monday, Nov. 7, 2011. Following a brief business meeting, a public reception will be held to honor outgoing council members. Incoming elected officials will be sworn in on Monday, Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m. and the public is invited to attend.
