Updated 3/29/2017: Highway 2 single lane road closures

3/29/2017

Highway 2 will have a single lane closure between East 112th Avenue and Potomac Street from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., starting Apr. 3-6, weather permitting. This closure will allow for the traffic switch/barrier relocation as part of the new rec center’s infrastructure. Flaggers will be present, please use caution.

Drivers will be shifted to the east side of the roadway, as a result of the barrier relocation, to allow for roadwork to begin on the west side. Off-peak closures are used to aid in commuter and worker safety by completing construction when traffic is minimal. Construction schedules are subject to change and are weather dependent. For timely updates and further information, call 303-C3-WORKS or visit www.c3gov.com/QCL.
